Prestige Classes
Prestiege Classes are those that are a specalised form of progression. Following unique cultural, historical or racial paths, prestiege classes pass. You sacrifce other aspects of your core, blending in a mix of a variety of styles to follow a unique path. To take a prestiege class you must meet the prerequisites and receive your GM's permission. When you progress in a prestiege class, you are given options to select what class to count as and you still count as that class for matters such as class feat and progression. However, you instead gain these prestiege class features.
Arcane Trickster
PrestigeFew can match the guile and craftiness of arcane tricksters. These prodigious thieves blend the subtlest aspects of the arcane with the natural cunning of the bandit and the scoundrel, using spells to enhance their natural thieving abilities. Arcane tricksters can pick locks, disarm traps, and lift purses from a safe distance using their magical legerdemain, and as often as not seek humiliation as a goal to triumph over their foes than more violent solutions. NOTE: If you pick sorcerer/warlock, it must use the arcane spell origin subclass
Dark Magic Mage
PrestigeEver since the defeat of the Varduin, a type of magic coined as dark magic has existed. Twisting all 4 schools of magic into a corrupted form, dark magic is the polar opposite of High Magic. Unlike the careful weaving and binding that high magic requires, Dark Magic is more akin to a forceful binding of the four origins into a new powerful form. To do so is no easy feat, but is far more easily accessible if given the right circumstances. Beings can give the ability, dark grimoires can teach its art. However dark magic has a toll on the caster’s mind and body and few can resist its irresistible pull
Fan Dancer
PrestigeThe art of fan dancing has disputed origins, as it is practised and revered in both Shurin and Ithiskar. While lower forms of fan-dancing performance are commonplace in both cultures, it is the martial dancer who becomes the subject of legend. It is predominantly regarded as a feminine occupation—especially in Ithiskar, where only the Saori (the feminine aspect) practise it—while in Shurin, the elite Fan Dancer order is made up only of women. Fan dancers are highly skilled, trained for decades, and often magically and physically gifted, capable of wielding deadly fan blades for performance as well as bloodshed. Must be Shurin or Ithiskar origin.
High Magic Mage
PrestigeClaimed by the Elves as an invention of their own, this is only a half truth, for it was discovered by an ancient gnomish mage and catalogued as a polar opposite to dark magic. Though it was only with the elves long lifespan and bond with lirineoix was this form of magic catalogued. High Magic binds the four core origins of magic together, channeling them in union to create spells of impressive power. To do such a feat unlike dark magic or necromancy has no shortcuts, rather centuries of study and impressive natural talent is required to even grasp the basics. For this only the long lived races have been able to use it and even then only sparingly for its full might is a closely guarded secret.
Knight of Naskrim
PrestigeFor many boys and girls in Naskrim, being a Knight is the ultimate dream. Trained in mounted and unmounted warfare, a knight of Naskrim can be an expert in the lance, longsword, axes and shortbow. Knights are very well equipped and trained. Knighted after years of training, a Knight of Naskrim is a formidable fighter, and their calvary charges and valiant stands have made them famous all over Allurian. To be a Knight of Naskrim one has to be raised in Naskrim and attended a Naskrimni Knight school and must be cavalier fighter.
Magic Archer
PrestigeMagic Archers bond the magical and martial domains of warfare. Infusing their arrows with magic, they are able to send gleaming arrows at their foes infused with deadly magic. Their arrows and magical i are weaved together in a deadly bond. While associated with elves in this day and age, this was infact a invention by Humans and popularised though never mass weaponised as the elves could.
Necromancer
PrestigeNecromancers are a deviation from Vitalurgy school of magic, twisting it with hints of dark magic. It was invented by Vecna and formed the basis of his undead power
Samurai
PrestigeSamurai are the warrior caste of the Goran in Ithiskar. With males, the Goran of Ithiskar symbolising strength, endurance, determination and willpower, the Samurai are representation of that. Clad in heavy armor, these warriors are trained from young in the Ithiskarian Goran way of war, being extremely deadly and capable fighters, able to withstand incredible odds. Must be raised or born in Ithiskar, or have some deep connection to Ithiskar. Must be maleor at least significant backstory reasoning on why its not a male.
Shadowblade
PrestigeShadowblades come from many places.. Some are agents of Shadowfell's creatures, otheres are agents and warriors of the goddess of the Shaodw Ashenya, others are drow elite agents known as shades. To be a shadow blade requires a special connection in the realm of shadows. Be it spending influenced by Shadowfell creatures, being a dedicated and esteemed member of Ashenya's clerics and agents, part of the Raven's Hand(Ashenya's secret organisation) or being a esteemed and capable drow who is deemed deserving a drow. Note: For the spellcasting class, the subclass must have been focused on illusion or shadows. For example Shadow Domain or Illusion School or Shaodw Stalker and character must have shown dedication to shadows both literally and morally. Being neither whollys selfish and bad, nor fully compassionate and caring
Shinobi
PrestigeShinobis are the opposite of the Samurai among Ithiskarian. Representing the feminine or Saori aspect. Shinobi represent cunning, stealth, elegance and grace. Trained from young, Shinobis are even fewer than Samurai in numbers and go through rigorous selection processes to even make the cut. The few girls who pass become Shinobis to the various clans of Ithiskar or perhaps other organusatins or even independent. They becoome deadly assassins, spies, skirmishes. They are also no less formidable in combat to their Goran equivalence and are considered masters of the Katana. Must be Ithiskarian or have significant Ithiskarian backstory reasoning, must be female or at least significant backstory reasoning on why its not a female.
Witch
PrestigeWhether drawing power from ancient beings, spirits or nature itself,. Witches are powerfull beings often feared and hated, for their form of magic is strange and twisted. While not outright an abomination like Necromancy or Dark magic. It's ways are nevertheless heavily frowned upon. Witches are defined by their hexes and familiars as well as their strange and esoteric ways of alchemy. Spellcaster must have a core spell list of Primal OR Occult and have the Familiar Class Feat
