Alchemy

With alchemy, you are able to brew potion potion.


To brew a potion, you need the following components.

1. An alchemical crafting set of the correct type.

2. Have the recipe

3. Have the ingredients and time

4. Reach the rarity preqreuisites


Alchemical Crafting Set

Commonly sold, this set of alchemical crafting tools comes in the form of various apparatus, glass bottles, measuing equipment. There are generally two types of alchemical crafting set.

Standard Crafting Set

This allows you to craft common, uncommon and are potions. If you craft very rare and legendary potions using this set, you gain a -10 to your brewing roll.

Advanced Crafting Set 

This allows you to craft all types of potions, with a +2 to  rolls on rare, uncommon and common potions brewing roles. 


Recipe

Recipes are generally found commonly in books and are cheap to buy. However for very rare and legendary potions, their recipe are often found only in archives, or not found at all and are considered Rare and above loot at the discretion of the GM. 

If you do not have a recipe, you can attempt to craft the potion with a -15 to your roll


Ingredients

The GM sets the cost of ingredients in the price range. Like wise as it was for recipe, higher rarity ingredients might be harder to find.

Brewing Roll

Each time you brew a potion, you must make an alchemical skill check. the DC is as below for the potions

Result 

CS: You brew for half the time required

S: You brew successfully

F: You fail to brew but you do not waste your ingredients

CF: You fail to brew and loose your ingredients


Batch Brewing

You can brew in batches of up to five, provided you have sufficient ingredients, when you do so, reduce the total time by 10% for each additional potion you brew.
