Dark Magic Mage

Prestige
Ever since the defeat of the Varduin, a type of magic coined as dark magic has existed. Twisting all 4 schools of magic into a corrupted form, dark magic is the polar opposite of High Magic. Unlike the careful weaving and binding that high magic requires, Dark Magic is more akin to a forceful binding of the four origins into a new powerful form. To do so is no easy feat, but is far more easily accessible if given the right circumstances. Beings can give the ability, dark grimoires can teach its art. However dark magic has a toll on the caster’s mind and body and few can resist its irresistible pull
